You can start, pause, or stop recording a track by simply pressing firmly on the display, no need to use your phone. To view statistics or change which units are displayed, simply swipe to the right.
With an Apple Watch Series 2, you can now record tracks and view your speed even when you aren’t near your iPhone.
The app automatically tracks your average/maximum speed & altitude in rolling statistics, even when not recording a track. You can reset this at any time.
